WIOA Adult/Dislocated/Youth

WIOA provides the framework for a workforce development system that is designed to meet the needs of employers, job seekers and current workers who want to advance their careers. The goal of WIOA is to increase participant employment, job retention, earnings, and occupational skill attainment.

Adult/Dislocated Worker

Through the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, eligible adults (18 or older) and dislocated workers (18 or older) can receive financial aid assistance to help pay for the cost of training (tuition, books, supplies, tools, and related costs) to attend post-secondary training providers approved by the State of Ohio. 



Youth Services

Eligible youth between the ages of 16 and 24 can receive assistance with completing high school, achieving academic success, financial aid for post-secondary education, developing employability skills, acquiring work experience, obtaining employment, and developing citizenship and leadership through the following services:
