_______________ Mobility Management _______________

WHAT IS MOBILITY MANAGEMENT

Mobility Management in Meigs County is funded by the Ohio Department of Transportation and works to improve transportation access throughout the community. The program helps coordinate available transportation services, identify transportation gaps, and connect residents with reliable travel options for work, medical appointments, education, and daily needs.

Meigs County Job and Family Services partners with Gallia County Job and Family Services to provide regional mobility management services, helping coordinate transportation resources across both counties. Mobility Management is a service that helps people find and use transportation options that meet their needs. The Mobility Management Program increases access to mobility for Meigs and Gallia County residents by increasing understanding and awareness of transportation needs, coordinating transportation options to meet needs, and building sustainable and healthy communities by integrating transportation into planning and programs. By working with local agencies, transit providers, and community partners, Mobility Management helps ensure transportation resources are used efficiently and that seniors, individuals with disabilities, and individuals without reliable transportation can access important services and opportunities.
