NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

The Meigs County Coordinated Transportation Planning Committee will be holding a public meeting on the following dates and times: Friday November 13th, 2020 at 1:30 PM, Wednesday November 18th, 2020 at 10:00 AM, Monday November 23rd, 2020 at 11:00 AM, Monday November 30th, 2020 at 9:00 AM and Wednesday December 2nd, 2020 at 9:00 AM, all meetings will be held virtually via Microsoft Teams (or you can call in)  All public, private non-profit, and private for-profit transportation providers, as well as the general public are invited to attend, participate and provide comment on the Meigs County Coordinated Transportation Plan.  For a copy of the plan prior to the meeting, to gain the access code for each meeting or to request an accommodation for a person with a disability please contact Bridget Gilmore at 740-992-2119 or bridget.gilmore@jfs.ohio.gov

Meigs County recently hired a mobility manager to complete a coordinated transportation plan for our county. We would like your feedback and ask that you take a few minutes to complete a survey, this allows us to see what barriers you may be facing in our County.

I am a person with a disability? (this survey is specifically designed to ask questions that will allow us to see barriers that someone with a disability may be facing in regards to mobility issues or limitations in Meigs County)

I am a senior citizen? (this survey is specifically designed to ask questions that will allow us to see barriers that someone who is a senior citizen may be facing in regards to mobility issues or limitations in Meigs County)

I am a Meigs County resident? (this survey is specifically designed to ask questions that will allow us to see barriers that someone residing in Meigs County may be facing in regards to mobility issues or limitations)

 

Coronavirus, COVID-19


In response to COVID-19, the coronavirus, and to protect the families and children we serve, as well as our employees, the Meigs County Department of Job and Family Services (MCDJFS) has modified the way customers access programs.

MCDJFS remains open Monday through Friday, 8:00am until 4:00pm.  All services remain available.  Certain precautions have been enacted.  Face to face contact with staff will be severely limited.  We ask that you do not come to the office if it can be avoided.
